2011 Grant Application

For 2011, The Erie Community Foundation is modifying its grant application process in two major areas. First, grant applications will be accepted exclusively online. Secondly, grant applications will follow the program areas of the Erie Vital Signs project.

Erie Vital Signs is a collaboration of The Erie Community Foundation, The Nonprofit Partnership, United Way of Erie County and Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership to identify a number of community-wide key indicators that will monitor community progress in eight major topical areas for the next decade.

The key program areas are: Brain Gain, Community & Civic Engagement, Cultural Vitality, Environment, Health, The Economy, Pre K-12 Education and Regionalism. Each program area has key indicators that will demonstrate areas of community pride or areas where we are falling short. More details are available at the Erie Vital Signs website.
