Theory of Change

The Early Childhood Education CAP met at the beginning of 2010 to identify areas of need, and begin designing the grantmaking theory of change. Grantmaking opportunities in the following areas have been identified:

1. create greater common understanding of the benefits of early learning;
2. develop and support creative community partnerships;
3. improve quality of programs and services; and
4. address the needs of young parents in poverty.

The next ECAP meeting is March 31, 2010.
